What causes acne?

Oil glands are located deep in the skin. They are also known as sebaceous glands.

• Each oil gland is connected to a tiny canal that contains a hair. The canal with its contained hair is called a follicle.
• The glands produce oil (also known as sebum) that flows to the surface of the skin through these canals to lubricate the hair follicles and the surrounding skin.
• The opening of the canal with the attached hair (follicle) onto the skin is the skin pore.

Oily skin occurs when an overactive oil gland enlarges and overproduces oil. Acne develops when some of the pores (through which oil normally flows from the oil gland to reach the skin surface) become blocked, resulting in trapping of oil within the skin pores. The pores are blocked by skin cells that have been shed from the lining of the skin pore and have bunched together. A blackhead or whitehead will develop from this skin pore blockage.

O que causa a acne?

Glândulas de óleo estão localizados profundamente na pele. Eles também são conhecidos como glândulas sebáceas.

     Cada glândula de óleo é conectado a um canal pequeno que contém um fio de cabelo. O canal com seu cabelo contido é chamado de folículo.
     As glândulas produzem o óleo (também conhecido como sebo) que flui para a superfície da pele por meio desses canais para lubrificar os folículos pilosos e na pele ao redor.
     A abertura do canal com o cabelo em anexo (folículo) sobre a pele é o dos poros da pele.

Pele oleosa ocorre quando uma glândula do petróleo overactive aumenta e overproduces petróleo. Acne se desenvolve quando alguns dos poros (através do qual o óleo normalmente flui a partir da glândula de óleo para alcançar a superfície da pele) tornam-se bloqueado, resultando em aprisionamento de petróleo dentro dos poros da pele. Os poros são bloqueados por células da pele que foram derramadas do revestimento dos poros da pele e têm agrupados juntos. Um cravo irá desenvolver a partir deste bloqueio dos poros da pele.
